Fighting it naturally.....Day one

Today was a very emotional day but I made it through it.

The thing I am most excited about is the Amazing Grass. Today I tried the watermelon flavor for energy and I am already hooked. I mixed it with Diet V8 splash. Not so bad. But talk about energy. I felt it not even an hour after I consumed it. It was far beyond amazing. I still have three flavors left to try but unless the others are as good, I think this is the one I'm going with. It's just too good to pass up.

Even though today was beyond a 10 on the emotional scale, I feel like the boost of energy helped me make it through it. Usually at 3 pm I'm about to die for a nap but not today. I was wide awake. This gives me hope.

I also had organic strawberries and a chicken and cheese sandwich for lunch. And of course plenty of water. It's not uncommon for me to eat the same thing day after day for about a week so this won't be too hard for me. I can purchase a few things from Whole foods and it will do me for an entire week. Not so sure this would work with someone with a family. I think it might get slightly expensive.

So I'm proud today. On a scale from 1 to 10 today was a 5 in the depression area but a 8 in the energy area. And I am looking forward to tomorrow. that doesn't happen often at all.

Two Week Challange

I recently read an article on how to fight depression naturally. I am going to try it and see if I see any difference. As some of you may know, medications stop working as good after some time. So I hope this is going to give me a boost back to life.

The Plan:

Amazing Grass... of which I love anyways. It's organic and really does make you feel better. Unfortunately is looks and smells like crap. But in the end you feel like a new person.

Eat mostly organic foods.

Walk at least 3 days a week outside.

Volunteer at least once a month.

Reduce my wine intake to only on the weekends.

I will give a daily update on my mental and physical progress.
